Windowless Private Jet – A Unique Experience of Flying

A window seat is a deal breaker for some of us when it comes to booking flights. The experience of overlooking the take-off, viewing the ocean and different countries/cities from the sky can be quite mesmerising.

However, even though conquering my fear of heights is one of my goals, and I enjoy having a window seat whilst flying; Travelling on a plane without windows is not something I’m quite ready to add to the bucket list as of yet!

But for the adrenaline junkies or those who don’t mind heights, this windowless private jet could be the next thrill experience for you.

This futuristic IXION windowless private jet was developed by Technicion Designs team in France.

The private jet uses external cameras to capture a real-time, 360-degree panoramic view of the space around the plane. Which beams images on the thin display panels on the cabin walls and ceiling – giving passengers the feeling that they’re flying in a transparent fuselage. Passengers will be able to dim the screens if they would like to catch some sleep or change it to an alternative images stored on the systems, such as: in-flight conferencing, photos, landscapes, a desert and outer space.

Gareth Davies (director at Technicion Design’s studio) and his team, have really created an innovative design to provide a unique experience of flying.
